I'm offering free, professional audiobook narration services for a limited amount of authors!

I'm a professional, non-union voiceover artist with 5 active years of voicing experience. And, I'm a mother to a cute toddler, so naturally I enjoy reading to him! Recently, I've started narrating children's books on ACX, as children's stories are close to my heart. I'm wanting to help authors bring their books to life and build my narration portfolio at the same time. Please read on if you're interested!

Lots of reading styles!

  • Warm, soft, smooth, loving
  • Chipper, energetic, fun, spunky
  • Conversational, natural
  • Melancholy, sad, introspective
  • Wacky, weird, silly
  • Sarcastic, shy, sassy, snobby

Lots of voice range!

  • Normal voice - read the entire book in my normal voice
  • Unique voices! - narrate the book with my voice and apply different voices for characters
  • Child, teen, adult, mature
  • Raspy, high-pitched, low-pitched
  • Nasally, stuffy
  • Fast, normal, or slow paced

More Info!

  • Your book should be 4,000 words or shorter
  • Board books, picture books, chapter books are all good!
  • No AI in writing or images, even if writing and images are edited
  • I will consider political and religious content on a per-book basis
  • Script should be polished and ready for narration

The process!

  1. Fill out the inquiry form for your book
  2. Communicate with me for any details I need
  3. I first read a very short sample from your script for you to approve
  4. Sample approved, I read/narrate your book and prepare the audio
  5. I send you the finished audio
  6. If you approve, then all done!

Longer Reading Samples

Because I'm a mother and so this content is close to my heart.

Absolutely not! ACX is what I know best, but I can also deliver raw audio or basically mastered audio if you're going to post your book on other platforms or spaces.

There are 4 I've narrated. Two are younger children's books, one is a Bible devotional for children, and one is a book about trains for kids.

  • The Not So Lonely Boys
  • The Magic of Flutterville
  • Faith Over Feelings
  • The Big Question: What Are Trains?

In the case of ACX/Amazon, I will upload the audiobook to ensure I am properly linked to the audiobook version and receive proper credit. Simply list your book on the ACX marketplace for auditions and then accept my "audition" when I submit it. I will not send you the actual ACX audiobook audio files for that platform any other way.

Two, and these are for small things, like if I made a mistake on a word. Revisions do not include multiple sentences, paragraphs, or re-reading parts of the script because you just wanted to change the script.

I would assume you have a print and/or e-book version of your book available for download or purchase somewhere, so you would publish the audiobook alongside your other formats.

Apologies. I cannot. Not only are there so many platforms these days that all may have different requirements, I also cannot dedicate the time to help you with publication of the audiobook.

I require all books I narrate to have a narration spoken credit either at the beginning, end, or both places. I reserve the right to decline narrating your story if you do not agree to this term. A narration credit is typical of what you'd hear from an audiobook: "Written by so-and so; illustrations by so-and-so; narrated by Christina Nicole Roberts."

On my main webpage! As well as information about my recording space and what I use.

  • You will have the right to publish the finished book to the platform(s) you disclose to me.
  • You will have the right to use small bits of the audio to create audio-based advertising to market your book.
  • You will not have the right to alter/edit, cut and re-order the audio, or use the audio for any AI-based or AI-adjacent things (like voice training, voice imitation, etc).
  • You will not have Commercial or Broadcast rights. Those must be purchased for a flat, one time rate of $100 for each one.

AI works in the creative/arts environment takes away from writers who spend all that time crafting a story; and from artists who've spent years improving their artistic skill. AI is a plagiaristic tool that can only take from pre-existing works made by humans in order to imitate or alter those works into presets and styles. And, AI in the arts has already proven to be dangerous (see the book about edible mushrooms that made a family very ill) and also drastically reduces the quality of artistic works. I am against AI removing the human touch from the arts and will not knowingly participate in AI-made artistic works.

Please fill out this form to request narration for your children's book. A copy of this form is stored in my website's database, so you can be assured I will receive your message. Your message is confidential and I do not share it anywhere. I require this form to be filled out to gather initial information about your book. I will not respond to direct email inquiries instead of this form for this narration service. Thanks!

I do not narrate for YA or teen-focused stories at this time.
