Stonyfield organic yogurt is an American yogurt brand. These yogurts were distributed from Londonberry, NH. Both of the yogurt flavors I tasted below are certified organic, non-GMO, and Gluten Free.

Just like with the Brown Cow yogurt, I also had a BOGO coupon for 2 Stonyfield 5.3oz yogurt cups. I bought 1 Pacific Coast Strawberry and 1 Chocolate Underground yogurt.

The Pacific Coast Strawberry yogurt has a semi-thick but slightly less thick texture than Greek yogurt. It’s mild, in a way I found very enjoyable. However, the only downside is that the flavor didn’t have as much of a strawberry kick to it as some other brands. There was some strawberry pulp, but no solid pieces. But besides all that, the flavor was mild and smooth and I enjoyed every spoonful!

The recipe: Cultured Pasteurized Organic Whole Milk and Cream, Organic Strawberries, Organic Cane Sugar, Pectin, Fruit and Vegetable Juice Concentrates (For Color), Organic Carob Bean Gum, Organic Natural Vanilla Flavor, Natural Flavor, Vitamin D3. Six Live Active Cultures: S. thermophilus, L. bulgaricus, L. acidophilus, Bifidus, L. paracasei, and L. rhamnosus.

The Chocolate Underground yogurt likewise has a mild flavor. It had a soft taste like hot chocolate or light chocolate creamer.¬† I’ve never had chocolate yogurt before this, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Part of me thought this would have a very bold chocolate flavor, so I was positively surprised it didn’t. Like with the Brown Cow and the Pacific Coast Strawberry yogurt, the Chocolate Underground flavor’s texture was also thick, but not as thick as Greek-style yogurt. Overall, yummy!

The recipe: Cultured Pasteurized Organic Whole Milk and Cream, Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Cocoa  (Processed with Alkali) Pectin, Organic Natural Vanilla Flavor, Natural Flavor, Organic Carob Beam Gum, Vitamin D3. Six Live Active Cultures: S. thermophilus, L. bulgaricus, L. acidophilus, Bifidus, L. paracasei, and L. rhamnosus.

The verdict on both: For organic yogurt lovers, Stonyfield organic yogurt is very much worth trying out! If the flavors I tried are a good indication of this brand, I very well may try other Stonyfield organic yogurt flavors. Solid value for being organic and gluten free!
